Interior Wall Painting roller does not match brush at ';Cut-Out';?

I'm painting and interior room. I do the ';Cut-out'; at the corners and ceiling, then go back and roll the wall. When it is all dried I can see a hint of where it was rolled and brushed. How can I get these to match perfectly???Interior Wall Painting roller does not match brush at ';Cut-Out';?
It will never match perfectly. To minimize the difference in texture start with using a good brush. Cheapos don't do as good a job. Make sure you use enough paint to cover well and level itself. Dip the brush more frequently, don't let it dry out. The same rule applies to the roller. Don't try to spread the paint too thin. Keep a wet edge. Roll the wall before the brushed edges dry. This may mean working in smaller sections. Don't try to cut in the whole wall before you start brushing. Depending what you are using for paint adding Floetrol might help it level better making the brush marks less visible.Interior Wall Painting roller does not match brush at ';Cut-Out';?
You could try a couple of things.

1. Use a paint pad instead of a roller, when doing the edges.

2. ';Feather'; the edges together with a sponge... use minimal paint, a light touch and a sea sponge, if possible.

3. Try to be more random when you roll on the paint. Do the x,y,or z thing and get an intentionally uneven edge.

I know what you mean and I have found that is most noticeable when the paint is not a flat finish.

Good luck. I hope someone else has a better answer.
You shouldn't ';cut in'; the whole room and go back. Instead just ';cut in'; a little ahead of where you are rolling so that the edge is still wet when you roll over it.
