Im Painting in two colors, which color goes on which wall?

im planning on repainting my room blue and white, blue on 2 of the walls and white on the other 2, the room is longish rather then boxy if u can imagine, so do i paint the shorter walls blue, facing eachother and the otherwalls white? one of the longer walls has the window, which is about 80% of the wall.

also, what color do i paint the roof?

and can i paint over orange?Im Painting in two colors, which color goes on which wall?
Depends on shade of blue, other colors in room, etc, but here goes:

Paint short facing walls blue, and long facing walls white.

It will make the room more square than rectangular.

Paint the ceiling 1] white, 2] blue, 3] light blue with clouds,

4] dark blue with stars

Are you using the colors from a print already in the room?

[ bedding, curtains? ] Make sure you include pieces of other colors on each wall.

Example: 2 long white walls, 2 short blue walls.

Curtains on long wall - blue/white stripes.

Comforter on bed - blue/white/gray paisley.

Rug on floor - white flokati.

Chair in corner - blue/white stripes.

Pillows for bed/chair - the paisley print.

Frames for pictures - gray enamel.

desk accessories - gray

lamps - brushed steel or blue ceramic, with white shades.Im Painting in two colors, which color goes on which wall?
I did a room in those colors. Also the room I did was also long and narrow. I painted the room blue and the trim around the windows and baseboard and chair railing and ceiling white. It looks great. The white trim really makes the blue pop. I have received many compliments. I also used white curtains, but you can try white and blue stripes, but I wouldn't use solid blue curtains, it will darken the room too much and make the space feel closed in. Good luck.
White is a color that opens things up, so if you want your room to appear larger and longer, the shorter walls, should be blue, therefore, being the accent walls.

But...blue and white is a tad odd to begin with.
Id say pick 2 colors that are similar in color, because if its too dramatic it won't look good. What shade of blue is it? If it's a lighter blue, put it on the larger wall, and then white on the others.

You can't paint over orange, you must use primer, and then paint 3 or more coats.
use blue on longer wall, white on shorter, and yes you can paint over orange. you need a lot of primer for that and the roof, well IDK
Paint the walls white and the trim blue.
