Magic Eraser by Mr. Clean.Anyway to take permanet marker off wall? Will painting over it do anything?
Those majic eraser's everyone is talking about will not only take off the permanent marker, but also your paint! So, you'll have to have enough paint to cover it back up. Or you could sand it off alitlle and then repaint. I'v tried to paint over permanant marker and it ends up bleeding through. Not right away either. But after a few days it makes it through. Even with primer. So, your best off the get the mark off with the eraser or sanding it alittle. Then touch up the spot with paint.
Yes! There is a new product called the eraser that is made just for that. Grocery store detergent isle. Tide?
you have to get a special kind of covering paint. why don't you just go out and get a mr.clean magic eraser? it'll take ANYTHING off. honest.
Mr. Clean Magic Eraser but as another user noted said it may remove the paint also so rub gently and it should be okay! I love those erasers how about everyone else!!
There are a number of cleaning products that remove permanent marker, but they may damage the paint. I would try a 'Mr. Clean Magic Eraser' first. If that doesn't work you'll have to prime and repaint the spot. Everybody seems to recommend KILZ, but the good stuff stinks to high heaven. A good stain blocking primer from any paint supplier should do the trick.
