Is painting a slanted wall the same color as the ceiling a good idea?

My bedroom is on the top floor.Which is like an attic. It has 4 foot wall then the slant goes to the ceiling.Do I paint the top part of the wall and the ceiling the same color? I also wanted to go dark, like a chocolate brown. With the 4 foot sides a burnt orange color. Will that be too dark?Is painting a slanted wall the same color as the ceiling a good idea?
Just my opinion, but that would seem like a bear cave to me. I'd get claustrophobic just walking into it. How about the burnt orange going all the way to the ceiling, then a white ceiling? Or put the dark brown on the 4-foot wall, then the orange the rest of the way?Is painting a slanted wall the same color as the ceiling a good idea?
Your room will look like it has taller walls if you paint the slanted part the same color as the wall. You do realize that the chocolate brown, while a beautiful color, is going to be very dark and make this room look small? If that is all right with you, go for it, otherwise, perhaps a tan color instead of the brown would be a better choice. Good luck with your room!
sure you can paint the slanted wall the same color as your ceiling. and it is (i think) better to go with deeper colors in smaller spaces. and as far as what colors you pick, well that's up to you. it needs to be colors that you like.
Paint it whatever color you like. It's your room.

I think its fine, with a slanted ceiling I think it looks very consistent to paint it the same as the ceiling, or even paint the ceiling and walls the same
It generally makes the room look smaller.

Yes, those colors will be quite dark.
