How do I put something in the wall (ex. A painting), without making any holes.?

It's called Sticky Tack. It's a little blue piece of gum like material. Goes on easy, comes off easy. The only issue with itis that it might not hold up heavy paintings.

Go to the website to check it out.How do I put something in the wall (ex. A painting), without making any holes.?

Hate to say this, but the only things you can hang without holes are very lightweight items. we have used self adhesive hooks of various types sucessfully with small items, but they simply will not hold heavy frames etc. We are from Australia, but now live in the Philippines, where most residences are made of rendered concrete blocks. in our new home, I have had to drill and wall plug every hanging item. the good news is that these can be filled, finished and repainted very successfully later.
Use a very strong double sided tape
3M Command Hooks -- They have many sizes and can hold a fair amount of weight. If you get the little ones, you can use 2-3 if needed to hold a heavier picture. They work well.
There's a special removable and re-usable wall hanging mechanism that you should be able to get from any respected convenience store. It latches onto the wall and can be removed easily without leaving behind any sticky residue or marks.
A sticky product will hold up a poster or possibly a small picture frame. If the painting is heavy, you will risk the artwork hitting the ground in the middle of the night. If you know how to find the stud in the wall, be it a stud finder or the ';knock on the wall and listen'; technique, a very small nail will do better then most stick-em type of products. If you rent and you are worried about leaving holes when you move, gently remove the nails and fill with putty, or even white toothpaste! Wipe off all excess and you should be good to go.

Good Luck!
