Seeking expert opinion regarding interior wall painting.?

I am planning to paint the interior of my apptt. with oil based matte-finish paint. Would it be good environmentally, hygienically and economical too?Seeking expert opinion regarding interior wall painting.?
Latex paint is easier to use (water clean-up) and also less expensive, because you don't have to buy paint thinner to clean your brushes and tools. Then you have to deal with disposing of your paint thinner.

Lastly, the drying time and drying fumes are much less for latex than for oil-based paints.

I'd recommend an eggshell finish for your walls. It is easier to wipe clean, but still gives you that matte finish you want.

I just read your additional notes. Do you mean stucco coated? If so, I'll stick with my previous advice with one additional comment: use an oil-based primer on stucco, and apply it with a roller you don't mind throwing away so you don't have to clean it afterwards. Let the primer cure for 24 hours, and then proceed with the latex application.Seeking expert opinion regarding interior wall painting.?
Environmentaly, I would have to say no. If you are looking for eco-friendly, then you should go with milk paint. There is a wonderful color range, no fumes and it is washable. It may cost a little more, but you and everyone around you will breathe easier.
