Blu tack leaves marks over time even on old paint.
Either frame the posters and hang them on nails (which leave only tiny holes), or stick the top and bottom edges to thin strips of wood or plastic to keep them straight and then hang those on nails (this looks really cool).
Then your new paint job will look better for longer, even when you change those posters around and the next ones are different sizes...
I would wait at least a few days. I put something up on our wall 1 maybe 2 days after painting %26amp; it took some of the paint off, although it was in a bathroom where there's more humidity.
